Understanding the billing process is essential for both service providers and clients on GetTrusted because it ensures secure and transparent financial transactions.
As a Service Provider, you begin by preparing an Estimation Document. This document outlines the scope of work, timelines, and payment schedule. The Client reviews and must approve this Estimation Document. Approval signifies agreement on the work scope and payment terms.
GetTrusted operates on a pre-payment system. This means payments are made in advance by the Client for the agreed-upon services. These pre-payments are securely held in the GetTrusted Clients Balance. This ensures funds are available and reserved for the Service Provider upon completion of the agreed work stages.
Once the Estimation Document is approved by Client, the status of your Estimate will be updated to ‘approved’ in your dashboard, where you can also see your updated Escrow Balance. With the Estimate approved and the payment secured, the project officially becomes Active, and you can start working.
As you, the Service Provider, complete the work according to the Estimation Document, you can withdraw your funds. For this you will need to initiate a Payout Request. This will begin the transfer of your earned funds from our system to your personal bank account or preferred payment method. If your Project requires additional funds for upcoming milestones or unforeseen expenses, requesting a Top Up.
GetTrusted deducts a commission fee from the payments. The rate is 10% for the first six months, 5% for the next six months, and an optional 2% after one year for continued platform support with supervision support or 0% without it.
Service providers can choose from various payout methods, including Bank Transfers, Payoneer, Wise. Note that each method may have associated transaction fees.
Service Providers can view their billing details and transaction history in the ‘Billing Overview’ section of their account.
The transactions list provides a detailed history of all transactions, including outstanding balances, completed payments, and pending transactions.
